Behind the Lens
As a photographer based in Switzerland, I combine my analytical thinking and teaching skills with natural creativity to push beyond the usual. I specialize in conceptual photography, creating scenes that go beyond simple images to tell compelling stories. Whether I'm working in my studio or out on location, my photographs reflect my commitment to inspiration, creativity, and strong visuals.

The Art of Creation
Every project starts with a unique idea that shapes the entire creative process. I commit to being original, which means I carefully plan and even build the scene myself, paying close attention to everything from the lighting to the backdrop to make sure it all ties together. Using materials like plywood and paint, I set the stage for these concepts to come alive.
Beyond the Frame
Although people often appear in my photos, they are just one part of a bigger picture. My goal is to turn the ideas in my head into real, visual scenes with the help of models who play vital roles in these settings. This method lets me capture not just images, but stories frozen in time.

The Final Touch
Post-processing is an integral part of my artistic process. It’s where I fine-tune and elevate the image to make sure the final result surpasses the initial concept. My work, whether it’s vibrant urban scenes, tranquil landscapes, or detailed studio setups, is a celebration of unleashed creativity.

I am the founder and owner of fototscharner.ch, a creative venture I run with my wife. This website represents the commercial aspect of our artistic expressions. Visit our page www.fototscharner.ch to explore more about this facet of our visual journey.

The "48 Be Visual" magazine, produced and published by me, features photos from our visual journeys. Published irregularly, it only comes out when we have enough content. This magazine is where we showcase our work. Visit this page www.48bevisual.com to see the issues of "48 Be Visual" that have already been published.
